Day 2

Begin your journey through Tokyo's culture and history with a visit to the Kiyosumi Garden. This beautifully landscaped Japanese-style garden, filled with stunning ponds, stone lanterns, and teahouses, provides a serene escape from the city's hustle and bustle. Next, venture into the Fukagawa Edo Museum. This hidden gem transports you back to the Edo period, offering a peek into Tokyo's past through the meticulously recreated traditional houses and daily scenes.



From there, head over to the famous Tsukiji Market. Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of this bustling marketplace, tasting a variety of Japanese delicacies from the freshest sushi to the most delectable mochi.



Get ready to treat your tastebuds to a delectable teppanyaki meal. This popular Japanese cuisine, where food is cooked on an iron griddle, is not just a meal but a culinary performance that is sure to delight.



Continue your exploration in Asakusa, home to the iconic Senso-ji Temple and the bustling Nakamise shopping street. Marvel at the grandeur of the temple's iconic red Kaminarimon Gate and enjoy shopping for traditional Japanese goods and souvenirs on the lively Nakamise street.

Day 3

Kick off your exploration with a serene cruise on Lake Ashi. This crater lake along the southwest wall of the caldera of Mount Hakone provides a peaceful escape with its stunning views of the surrounding mountains and Mount Fuji on clear days.



Next, ascend into the skies on the Hakone Ropeway. Experience panoramic views of the verdant valleys, crystal clear Lake Ashi, and the majestic Mount Fuji as you glide through the sky in a cable car.



Continue your journey to the Great Boiling Valley, also known as Owakudani. This volcanic valley with its active sulphur vents and hot springs offers a glimpse into Hakone's geothermal activity. Don't miss out on the unique experience of tasting Owakudani's famous black eggs, which are hard-boiled in the hot springs.



Conclude your day at the Hakone Open Air Museum, nestled in the lush greenery of Hakone. This innovative outdoor museum is home to a myriad of sculptures, artworks, and interactive installations, beautifully blending art with nature.

First on your itinerary is Todai-ji Temple, a renowned World Heritage Site. Behold the temple's architectural grandeur and its Great Buddha, one of the largest bronze statues in the world. This imposing icon is sure to leave you in awe of its craftsmanship and scale. Next, immerse yourself in the enchanting ambiance of Nara Deer Park. Engage with the friendly, free-roaming deer, considered sacred messengers of the gods in the Shinto religion.



Proceed to the historic Kasuga Taisha, an important Shinto shrine known for its hundreds of bronze and stone lanterns that line the pathway. The tranquility of the shrine, set in a lush forest, offers a peaceful retreat.

Day 5

Start your day with a visit to the iconic Kinkaku-ji, or the Golden Pavilion, a Zen temple that is truly a sight to behold. Covered in gold leaf and surrounded by beautiful gardens, this structure offers stunning photo opportunities at every turn, perfectly reflecting the grandeur and elegance of Japanese architecture.



Next, delight in a rickshaw ride around the scenic Arashiyama district. Feel the charm of old Japan as you are guided through serene bamboo forests, historic sites, and along the Hozu River, taking in the lush landscapes and tranquil atmosphere.



Afterward, meander along the quaint stone-paved Ninen-zaka, a traditional street that will transport you back in time. With well-preserved machiya houses now serving as charming teahouses and souvenir shops, it is an ideal place to experience the historic charm of Kyoto.



Immerse yourself in the art of the traditional Japanese tea ceremony, experiencing the harmony, respect, purity, and tranquility of this iconic cultural practice. Learn how to prepare and serve matcha, the powdered green tea, and appreciate the intricate rituals involved.



You have the option to choose between a Maiko Dining experience or a Tea Ceremony experience while wearing a traditional kimono. As part of the Maiko Dining experience, you can enjoy a meal accompanied by the performance of a Maiko, an apprentice Geiko (known as Geisha in Kyoto). She will present traditional dances and engage in light conversation, providing a deeper cultural immersion during your visit.
