Tokyo Imperial Palace Plaza | Residence of Imperial Family
Imperial Palace used to be Edo Castle in the Edo Shogunate period which lasted about 300 years. Japan was put under the control by members of Tokugawa Shogun family. It is the main residence of the imperial family now. It is surrounded by a large park area close to Tokyo Station, mostly open for public. Why don't you visit when you have a chance?
