Loved the Illumination, Asakusa, & Hoto

Best place visited in this tour: We loved the Illumination, Asakusa, Hoto - I can’t pick one.


Best experience had in Japan: Dying the scarves in the Shidori work shop, Kimono fashion show and shopping the streets with local vendors and flavors.


Any place went to visit next time: The Imperial Palace, the Thousand Gates in Kyoto.
We were initially disappointed after a long and frustrating trip to travel to Japan that we were on our own to find our way to the hotel. Hiroko was waiting to welcome us at the hotel with a word of welcome and a snack, so that eased some frustration.
Having more information prior to coming regarding Luggage allowances and transfer would relive a lot of anxiety when changing to another.

1. How would you rate the accommodations? (Comfort, cleanliness, location)

Excellent

Tokyo Dome Hotel was beautifully appointed with spacious rooms, excellent staff and a superb breakfast. The location was prime and the hotel was very clean. Extremely happy with this selection.

2. What did you think about the food? (Taste, variety)

Excellent

Every meal exceeded my expectations. They were so much more than I thought they would be – highest quality, excellent venues and a wonderful variety. I especially enjoyed the exquisite lunch at the Noritake Factory.

3. Was the tour guide helpful? (Knowledge, communication, attitude)

Excellent

Hiroko exceeded anything we could have imagined. She was a good communicator, a great organizer and she has such an endearing personality. Her ability to meet each person’s needs come from her genuine enjoyment of people. She made the tour an excellent experience for us all!!

4. How would you rate the sightseeing spots we have visited? (Favorite place, least favorite)

Excellent

We had such a wonderful itinerary visiting a good variety and diversity of places. It was a good view of Japanese culture, food and the kindness of people. I loved all the places we never would have found on our own.
