Fukui Tojinbo | Cliffs Over 12 Million Years Old

Tojinbo in Fukui is a series of rugged cliffs on the coast of Sea of Japan.The rocks are said to have formed over 12 million years ago and now stretches over 3,200 ft. The cliffs are rugged from all the erosion it has been through with the waves of the Sea of Japan crashing into the rocks. The Tojinbo Oike is a lagoon with a 82 ft cliff. The cliffs can be seen from above at the Tojinbo Tower or from a boat ride in the sea.
