Oze in Gunma is a national park known for its Ozegahara Marshland and the Ozenuma Pond. The national park itself includes the mountains and many trailheads, making it a very popular hiking destination. A comprehensive hike through the park from western Hatomachitoge trailhead through both Ozegahara Marshland and the Ozenuma Pond to the eastern Oshimizu trailhead can be done in approximately six to eight hours. The Ozegahara Marshland with its hundreds of small pools along the 6 km length is the park's most popular site. The Ozenuma Pond is also popular and can be enjoyed by the 6 km path that surrounds the pond.
