Nomura Family Samurai Residence is located in Nagamachi, a samurai district of Ishikawa. It is one of the few places left storing artifacts depicting the lifestyles of samurai. The Nomura Family were wealthy, high ranked samurais until the Meiji Era when Japan's feudal era came to an end. Their house has been restored and now serves as a great representation of samurai household during the Edo Period. Their residence features intricate details and elegance through their choice of wood and motifs.
