Nachi Falls, or "Nachi No Taki", is Japan's tallest waterfall with single uninterrupted drop, with a drop of 436 ft. At the top of the waterfall are two rocks which represent the guardian kami of Nachi Falls. In the past there was a Buddhist temple in the vicinity but was destroyed. Great views of Nachi Falls can be enjoyed anywhere but the observation deck at the base of the waterfall for 300 yen or at an upper viewing deck in a pagoda for 200 yen are popular areas for tourists.
