Edo Wonderland, also known as Nikko Edomura is a history theme park depicting life during the Edo Period (1603-1868). The park recreates the towns during this time using architecture and atmosphere from the Edo times. Visitors can rent costumes for free and dress up as how the townspeople looked as they walk across the park. Edo Wonderland also has many shops and stores which sell souvenirs also relating to the Edo Period. There are even replicas of stores like blacksmith and jail houses to show how the storefronts looked.
One of the most popular attractions is the Ninja Trick Maze, a human sized labyrinth, where one can experience how ninjas made their ways through town sneakily. The park also holds several shows including ninja shows and magic shows.
