The Gion Corner in Kyoto is a popular night spot where tourists can experience an overview of 7 kinds of Japanese traditional arts and entertainment in single setting. These arts include:

• Kyoto-style Dance: An elegant, traditional-style of dance performed by Geisha and Maiko (apprentice) in beautiful Kimonos. Fun fact: "Geisha" in Kyoto are called "Geiko".
• Ikebana: Traditional Japanese Flower Arrangement based on form and balance of nature with life.
• Tea Ceremony (Sado): Japanese style tea ceremony that promotes the ideals of purpose, way of thinking, religion, artistic appreciation, and decoration in the tea ceremony and tea room.
• Japanese Harp (Koto) Performances: The Koto is regarded as a sacred instrument used for inviting the Gods. Standing at about 6ft and said to originate from China, the Koto was first played for Emperors, shrines, and ceremonies.
• Comic Play: Plays based on Kyogen which is the witty and humerus dialogue between two performers.
• Gagaku Court Music: Special music played at ceremonial occasions and festivals. There are many traditional instruments, including the Kagura whistle, flute, koto, drums, taiko, and more!
• Bunraku Puppet Play: A special style of puppet show that was recently registered as an UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2009.
