Usa Shrine

Usa Shrine, also known as Usa Jingu or Usa Hachimangū, is a Shinto shrine in Oita. Usa Shrine was founded in the 8th century and is dedicated to Hachiman, God of warriors. The current Usa Shrine building was reconstructed during the 19th century and features vermilion pillars and a black and gold exterior.

Usa Shrine is built in the architectural design of Hachiman-zukuri in which two buildings are actually interconnected but seem to be separate buildings.
