Shushinkan Sake Brewery, established in 1751, is located in the Nada district of Kobe, Japan, an area well-known to produce some of the highest quality Japanese sake. The combination of high quality, locally grown Japanese rice and the crisp, pure water from the Rokko Mountains are used to produce delicious, high-quality sake. Thanks to the cold winds and clear waters from the Rokko Mountains, Shushinkan is famous for their sake, such as their Fukuju line of sake.
Tourists visiting Shushinkan can enjoy complimentary sake tasting at the gift shop, as well as sake with Japanese cuisine at the Sakabayashi restaurant nearby. There's also sake demonstrations (advanced reservation required), various events, and exhibits held at the brewery's large main hall.
For travelers looking to hike the Rokko Mountains in Kobe, why not unwind after with a delicious glass of sake from Shushinkan? Add this charming brewery to your itinerary with Japan Deluxe Tour's affordable range of add-on's and vacation day-trips!
