Begin your morning with a refined journey to Nara, Japan’s ancient capital and the birthplace of classical culture. Explore the majestic Todaiji Temple, home to the Great Buddha—an 8th-century bronze masterpiece and UNESCO World Heritage treasure. Just beyond, stroll through Nara Park, where sacred deer wander gracefully beneath temple eaves and centuries-old pines, evoking a sense of harmony between nature and divinity.

Continue to the tranquil riverside town of Uji, celebrated for its exquisite tea heritage and poetic scenery. Surrounded by gardens and water, it’s an experience that embodies Kyoto’s refined spirit.

Enhance your day with a selection of exclusive optional experiences: take part in a private matcha tea ceremony in the birthplace of Japan’s finest green tea; drift along the Uji River aboard a serene Jukkokubune boat; or savor the craftsmanship of Kyoto’s sake tradition with a guided tasting at the historic Gekkeikan Sake Brewery in Fushimi.

Conclude the day with a visit to the iconic Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, where thousands of vermilion torii gates weave a luminous pathway through the sacred forest. As dusk falls and lanterns glow softly, experience the stillness and grace that define Japan’s most elegant spiritual sanctuary.
