Located east of Kyoto, Tanzan Sake Brewery in Kameoka is one of the best sake breweries using the traditional sake-brewing methods. The Kameoka area is famous for it's crystal-clear water and fertile land for growing rice, so it is an ideal location for sake brewing. Guests of the brewery can enjoy watching an informational video on the brewing process before seeing the sake made in the brewery.
