The Pokémon Café is an officially licensed themed restaurant where guests can enjoy creatively designed meals, desserts, and drinks inspired by beloved Pokémon characters. Each café features seasonal menus, limited-time character appearances, exclusive tableware, and merchandise that cannot be purchased elsewhere. The experience goes beyond dining, offering a memorable pop-culture moment that reflects Japan’s creativity and attention to detail.
There are currently two Pokémon Café locations in Japan: Tokyo and Osaka. Both locations are extremely popular and attract visitors from around the world. While it is officially possible to enter the café without a reservation if same-day seats become available, walk-in availability is unpredictable and often very limited—especially during peak travel seasons, weekends, and holidays. For travelers with fixed itineraries, relying on same-day entry can be difficult and stressful.
Japan Deluxe Tours does not operate the Pokémon Café itself. Instead, we offer a Pokémon Café reservation support service as an Optional Tour for guests participating in our Group Tours or Private Tours. Our role is to assist with securing a reservation at the Pokémon Café and coordinating it within your travel schedule whenever possible.
Due to language barriers, time differences, and high demand, many international travelers find it challenging to navigate the reservation process on their own. This service provides professional local support for one of Japan’s most competitive dining experiences, offering added convenience and peace of mind. While reservations cannot be guaranteed, this Optional Tour significantly increases the chance of enjoying this highly sought-after experience during your stay.
This Optional Tour is designed to support reservations for one of Japan’s most difficult-to-book dining
experiences and is offered as an added convenience for our tour guests.
