Sailor Moon is a famous Japanese animation that is well known around the world. Comics of Sailor Moon were first published in 1992, and the TV animation aired shortly after the manga was published. It became a boom and social phenomenon that was popular among not only girls, but also women and men. Sailor Moon also became very popular among foreigners and has been dubbed into many languages for people to enjoy around the world.
To commemorate Sailor Moon's 25th anniversary, the official Sailor Moon shop opened on September of 2017 in Harajuku. A number of the products can only be exclusively bought at the store as exclusive goods.
