2020's Attack on Titan XR Ride, a virtual roller coaster set in the world of the hit series, was back in March 2022. Dive headfirst into the world of Attack on Titan with a limited time attraction at Universal Studios Japan. (Mar. 4, 2022 - Aug. 28, 2022) Attack on Titan Race for Survival had you racing through an incoming titan attack as you attempt to escape the grasps of the titans with the help of Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Levi, Hange, and Sasha. A unique combination of VR and rollercoaster ride, guests got to experience the world of humans versus titans like never before.
Enjoy a meal at the first ever Attack on Titan themed restaurant during your visit. Modeled after the mess hall of the Investigation Corps, eat as if you are a part of the team before you head out into the field for battle. Order foods inspired by dishes eaten by the Investigation Corps as seen in the anime. The hall itself will provide a truly immersive experience with small details such as omnidirectional mobility gears, Expeditionary Corps member’s bags, and personal belongings lying around. Even the sounds will make you think you are eating amongst Corps members with conversations between members and background music as heard in the anime are playing.
Don’t miss your chance to take a picture with the ever-popular Levi and Hange to commemorate your visit to Japan.
The life-sized figures are truly one of a kind with attention to detail unmatched anywhere else. When looked at closely, the figures will seem very much life like and feel like they are there. The photo op does require a fee so please inquire at the time of your visit.
Be sure to check out the merchandise store for exclusive items only found in the park. From rucksacks to the individual Corps’ jackets, don’t miss out on becoming part of the Corps yourself. If adventurous, visitors can also buy their very own Omnidirectional Mobility Gear at the store as well to truly complete your look and feel as if you are a part of the Survey/Investigation Corps.
