Traditional Japanese Handicraft Village

The Yunokuni no Mori is a traditional Japanese handicraft village in Komatsu, Ishikawa. The village features old thatched-roofed houses in the complex, each showcasing arts & crafts unique to Ishikawa. There are multiple stations guests can visit to participate in workshops, in addition to browsing through the various exhibits. Guests can enjoy a wide-range of activities in the village, including pottery, silk-dyeing, soba making, and more! Of course, the village also has a small souvenir shop stocked with all the goods you need to continue practicing your crafts once you get back from you Japan tour. Pick up a new craft, or just enjoy the scenic nature in this charming little village. Be sure to stop for a cup of tea while relaxing in the serene gardens of Yunokuni no Mori.
